The city becomes a garden
In Brescia Fiorinsieme back, and the city is transformed into a magnificent park in the name of Biodiversity
Environment, ecosystem, sustainable garden. These are the keywords of the third edition of Fiorinsieme. From September 3 to October 3 back because the event organized by nurserymen Bresciani in collaboration with the Municipality of Brescia, in past years was the most important dress of green squares in the city of Brescia and that this fall will transform Piazza Paolo VI in a lovely park full of green plants, trees and gardens of the most beautiful species and varieties.
The historic Piazza del Duomo of Brescia will rise to over 1200 square meters of green gardens, offering visitors a unique view on the strange but effective combination of urban elements and natural elements, patterns and colors of gates and palaces to serve as backdrop to the beautiful gardens .
Biodiversity is the theme for this new edition includes eight gardens whose design made by some of the most established companies associated with the construction of green, all under the planning coordination Arch. Nicola Faustini (StudioDprogettazione) and Corivert (Consortium for the rehabilitation of vegetation and territory).
You will see, for example, the realization of a bio-pond natural, that without the aid of chlorine or chemical components exploits the regenerative power of aquatic plants and the movement of water to provide balance and energy to the environment.
Another interesting project will also present the application of elements of bioengineering technique that involves the use of only native plant species in order to demonstrate the importance of a natural garden and sustainable.
Will be produced an urban garden, becoming increasingly common among cities that, in addition to being a real green lung for the city as an alternative to intensive agriculture, based on the use of chemicals, pollution and rhythms of forced cultivation soil, all of which destroy biodiversity.
The project also includes construction of a relaxation area and an area for children, perfectly placed in the context of green of shapes and geometries, hedges and bushes over 50 feet. A pedestrian path will delimit the individual gardens and the different thematic areas.
There will be a Zen garden and a teaching example of a garden, in addition to other interpretations of landscapes that aim to integrate the green and the architecture for the protection and preservation of the environment.
The Association nurserymen Bresciani, with this ambitious project aims to disseminate a correct knowledge of the environment and culture that too often is missing today, but perhaps needs more attention, as gardens, parks and terraces should not only be aesthetically pleasing but can also fit smoothly into its environment, without altering the dynamics and natural processes, thus selecting species adapted to our climate, avoiding chemical treatments, and encouraging the presence of predatory insects and insectivorous birds.
In 2010, declared by the UN international year of biodiversity, then the association is the bearer of an important message with the intention to introduce native species and natural vegetation while protecting the environment and ecosystem.
During the event, with 5,12, and September 26, the Brescian companies producing flowers and plants (seasonal, annual, perennials, cut flowers, bonsai, cacti, etc.) are present in the fountain (opposite Broletto) for a shows where the market exhibit major seasonal varieties and can offer valuable advice to all fans.
From September 17 to 19 however, the large garden will be a splendid backdrop to fashion week.
The Association nurserymen Bresciani is ready to revive the public the excitement of last year: Brescia is a city which then changed the face for a month with a desire to become a garden city.
