The choice of the growbox

Today we will purchase the grow box, which is the home of our indoor cultivation.
I'm often asked this question: I would like to grow and bear fruit in the annual cycle of plants (peppers, tomatoes, herbs) but my space and 'limited ...
More plants in a confined space may suffer and implement a real competition between them and this competition will lead to a "no growth" of plants genetically weaker.
This is to emphasize that the welfare of even a single plant grown in a limited space will bring great satisfaction to those who cultivate it, and if it comes from 'that is preferable to a single plant to produce good rather than five plants crammed in a small grow box average ( 80 × 80 × 160).
Other factors to consider are: first, the relationship between the power of the bulb used to space the grow, resulting in overheating and serious damage to our plants if for example we will use a standard power of 400w hps bulb with a high pressure or mh in a grow box of the type mentioned.
Going to order without hasty steps:
1) Choice of adequate space to host our plants: if we have an area of about 120 × 120 × 200 will not have many problems and we will leave open a wide range of options, whereas the square footage is adequate to adopt the grow bulbs 250/600 watts.
2) Choose the quantity of plants: whereas during the fruiting / flowering pots indoors adopt from 11.5 liters (the biggest in the market for indoor) and taking into account the same grow box (120 × 120 ...) does not fill to the limit without leaving space between each other and why we would go to trigger the phenomenon of competition but we can safely stay 6/7 flower pots.
3) Ratio / power plants amounts: whereas a sodium lamp 600w has a certain production capacity we can certainly look into making an excessive number of plants, the production unit being inversely proportional to the number of plants (more 'plants = less production unit, less plants = more abundant harvest of each plant).
It 's always better not to exceed production and have a more focussed on a few subjects rather than having lots of plants all leaves and no fruit!
4) Ratio power / space / number of plants: if your system is of limited power (eg 250Watt bulb with sodium) and your area remains unchanged from the one mentioned, we will have more usability, more space for our plants but production will always be tied to power.
Some examples:
grow box to small size (70 × × 70x140h/80 80x160h): Recommended lamp: 150/250w sodium, fluorescent 200/300w.
medium grow box (80 × 80x180h or 160h): 250/400W sodium or 2 fluorescent lamps 150/200watt.
grow box medium / large (100 × 100 × 200): sodium lamp 400w or 2 200w fluorescent lamps
large grow box (120 × 120x200h): sodium lamps from 600watt, 400watt reflector 2 by double-
Double grow box (240 × 120x200h): double sodium lamp 600w
Benefits grow box material PVC and aluminum structure with respect to a self-built wooden grow:
-Lightweight (easy to move, cleaning up and dismantling)
-Deformable structure (to grow in self-built wooden often undergo a deformation of the structure due to moisture)
Zip-tight seals and "double Velcro" to avoid light spillage or unwanted interruzzioni the hours of darkness.
For reflector-attacks, odor filters, extractors already predisposed
Existing internal-reflection (silver or white)
-Aseptic environment compared with respect to grow wood

hello,
for practical needs the growbox are equipped with little appeal under the profile of design. It comes to boxes of culture after all.
In Italy I have never seen products very similar to a closet or a cabinet that you put in your living room, but you can find (if you have lots of money to spend) with the foreign key 'grow cabinet' (and not growbox) or 'grow armoir '.
These solutions almost always very small in terms of space and very expensive, but if you have a little 'practice with DIY projects you can find interesting facts at home.
